I'm installing a Nav in my 2008 Yukon. The GM nav is too restrictive and expensive. I'm going with a Pioneer Z2 system. It looks factory. However, you can activate the rear view camera anytime and enter an address while moving. Both things cannot be done with the factory unit. Also, the graphics on the Pioneer are much better. If you have XM you can add real time traffic speeds on freeways in certain urban markets. Southern CA has a super system. Good luck.

yea i know the aftermarket is better but i just really like a clean factory look, it is better then not having navi at all you have to admit

If you put a factory unit and the pioneer side by side, you will see no difference when installed in the dash. I would like to add that for $100 I am adding the bluetooth module so I can talk on my cell phone handsfree using the radio speakers and mic. I am also adding the interface for my ipod, so I can plug it into the radio and run the ipod from the radio faceplate.

I did factory Nav, and I'm into factory also. This should be a lot easier on your truck as you already have LUX amp. I did CDX, back up cam, and hooked DVD to Nav screen. You can disable speed sensor while driving so you can input addresses etc. This is where I got most of my info. Just do some searches. Good luck.
