03 gmc gear shifter light

Default 03 gmc gear shifter light

Ok i need some help the shifter indicator in the cluster has went like dark all of a sudden in the daytime and you can barely see it at night like im guessing a blown bulb??? but how do you go about changing it ? is it a led or bulb and how hard is it to get the cluster out? pm me with some info guy's if you know for sure i gotta get this fixed when i get home tomorrow....thanks

It is not hard to pull the cluster, take the trim panel on the dash off(it just pulls off, no screws holding it on) then there are just 4 7mm or 9/32 screws holding in the cluster. As for the light I dont know what kind it is as I have never had it out. Pull it apart and see is the only way I would know.
