The RC SRT-10 has a curb weight of 5,130 lbs and the QC is 5,618 lbs. Many Rumblebees are 4x4 for much needed street traction and can weigh 1000 lbs lighter than a srt-10 if it's a 2wd model. Horsepower isn't everything, that's why most SRT-10's are slow as hell and usually priced like a Camry in my neck of the woods. Mind you no Dodge has any resale value, so that's irrelevant.
BEE being 1000lb lighter i dont think so. A BEE and a DAYTONA are just like any regulare single cab rams with 5.7 but only a bodykit and different colors. i have a 4x2 daytona and my truck stock weighed 5015lbs stock without me in it and its the same for a 4x2 bee. The 4x4 weigh some where near 200-300lbs more than a 4x2 so do the math. The regcab SRT10 wiegh close to 5300-5400 lbs because of the bigger heavier motor and bigger rims and more opitions. The Quad cab srt10 is close to 6000lbs. The reason the srt10 dont run like many think is because they are heavy pigs like you said.
no matter how heavy they are a srt10 will be my vote even though i drive a fast hemi. Just know you can run a low 13 stock and be on 22's and have a good looking truck. Same thing goes with the quad cab srt 10 they can run a low 14- high 13 stock( depending on location) and still look nice and be able to care extra people.....
SO SRT10 IS WHAT I THINK YOU SHOULD GET.
I HAVE SEAN TUNE, INTAKE CATBACK QUADCAB SRT10 RUN 13.0-13.2@ AROUND 106 AND ITS SIMPLE TO DRIVE BEING A AUTO THE SINGLE CAB TAKE PRACTICE AND WITH PRACTICE IT WILL BE A BEAST IF YOU GET TRACTION
