Default SRT-10 superchared dyno results

This was done in this months Sport Truck magazine so I figured I would post them up. The mule was Barry Grant's SRT-10 Crew Cab with the automatic. It made 384rwhp before and 504rwhp after on 6 psi. The supercharger was a twin screw 3.3L Lysholm design...didn't read much on it yet...got the magazine at my house though. The reg. cab with a manual made a base of 438rwhp and 620rwhp with the supercharger on 6 psi the magazine said. They have dyno charts in the magazine too. Anyways, just passing the information.

Oh, the supercharger was by Roe Racing.

That QC truck was intentionally kept very mild and the S/C is running with the stock trans and PCM. With a few more upgrades he could easily put up numbers close to the RC Roes.

What kind of power adder did he have? Paxton Reg Cabs run mid 11s to low 12s depending on their level of heat soak. A turbo'd Reg Cab or nitrous'd would be even faster.

You ever get up to the St. Louis area?

Yesterday I sat passenger on a test drive of a new viper with the paxton novi 2000 on it and all I can say is OH MY G**! That car needs OH SH!+ handles. There is nothing to hang on to. IT put fear in me. It was hitting the rev limiter like crazy. There was no traction untill 3rd gear. One wrong move of the steering wheel and that is it. There was alot of little things about the kit I didn't like about the kit (fuel pumps, piggy back CPU, ext.) But dam, it felt fast!

The Viper cars are crazy fast with the Paxtons. The trucks are so much heavier that you don't get that "Oh $hit" reaction out of the hole.

My neighbor has a Paxton Ram SRT10 and he says my truck feels like it pulls harder because my torque curve comes on hard down low. My cam is cut more for torque than hp. His power/trq is in the upper rpms were mine is solid all the way across the curve.
