i know you viper trucks run the t56s. now are yours the same as the viper spec'd trans? im asking cause im in need of a strong trans. i just destroyed mine and been looking at D&D's viperspec'd T56 for the GMs. says its good for 650ftlbs

any thoughts would be appreciated

Have you thought about using a TKO-600 instead of the T56? Alot of the protouring LSX guys use them instead of the T56 cause of closer ratio gears that are actually usable, even thou it is a 5-speed. you can get the 5th gear in 2 different ratios..

The T-56's are pretty much bullet proof. They come in the Viper, Corvette, my Truck.....
The ones in the Trucks come with thicker gears because we start at 5300#'s. curb-weight. Other than that, there the same.
