AFP 99-06 2WD Coilover Brackets
These brackets are to allow you to bolt up a set of off the shelf coilovers to GMT800 99-06 2WD trucks with the factory coil spring fronts. The shocks retain the double eyelet design which is the strongest and most robust way to mount coilover shocks.
These are laser cut from 1/4" steel, MIG/TIG welded, and powdercoated black. Grade 8 1/2" is hardware is included. The upper bracket has a stainless bolt TIG welded to act as stud to make installation very easy. The lower bracket uses the factory bolts through the control arm to locate the lower bracket and keep it from shifting.
These can be combined with a drop spindle for additional drop. I have a version that can be combined with DJM lower control arms, but those are not quite ready yet.
I am a dealer for Viking shocks and can have shocks built to order and sent straight to you. I can put together a package deal with everything you need, except maybe springs depending on your situation, but I can tell you exactly what you need.
I have 4 bracket kits that I am selling at a deep discount to clear them out. They are 100% functional, just a slightly different design than later ones. Once these are gone the kits go back to normal pricing.
Pricing
- Discounted brackets - $170 shipped
- Normal bracket pricing - $295 shipped
- Any 2 Viking Warrior series coilover shocks - $400
- Any 2 Viking Crusader series coilover shocks - $535
- Any 2 Viking coilover Springs - $90
- Viking Spanner wrench and thrust washer kit - $45
- Shipping and Paypal fees - $40
You don't have to get shocks from me if you want just the brackets, but I really do think the Vikings are the best value deal out there right now for good coilover shocks
Fitment Guide
To determine what shock and spring you need you will need to measure your current height with the truck on the ground from the middle of the wheel straight up to the fender and compare to the chart below. This measurement does not include a drop spindle. If you are using one, add the amount of drop from the spindle to the measurement you take and use the chart below.
If you have any questions at all or want to order send me an PM here, or email me at AtomicFandP@gmail.com. You can also see these on my website: GMT800 2WD Coilover Brackets - Atomic F&P
I also made a video talking about these and how simple they are to install and why you should use my brackets instead of a Tbar mount:

By drop coils, do you mean 3" drop springs? What shocks are you using?
With coilovers you gain performance, adjustability, and usually ride comfort. You have the ability to select the shock settings and spring stiffness to exactly the conditions you use the vehicle. For instance a higher spring rate for responsiveness and handling, and a lower spring rate to get more movement like in drag racing. Coilover shocks are typically adjustable or double adjustable so you can tune the ride characteristics just how you like it, and you can also easily tweak the ride height just where you want it using a spanner wrench.
