I've talked to Reno on the phone before when I purchased the kit but I never have recieved a call back about the restock fee and if he would accept a return since I was in a 30 day window.

I WOULD NOT buy any kit from this sponsor. You are definitely getting what you pay for. I bought a kit for my old 2001 Sierra from a local guy I found on craigslist for $120 and the kit worked flawlessly for 2 years. I would definitely look around for other providers.
