Default Not Good with Nelson Performance

First of all Nelson Performance clearly states in there terms & condition that retunes are FREE for the life of the vehicle as long as you own it. It doesn't say the life of the engine or tranny but the vehicle. I order a retune because I swapped motors out in my truck. I get the tune and I can't even connect the PCM and due to putting an 02 motor in an 05 truck the connectors dont match anymore... now they want me to pay for a new tune when it says FREE RETUNES FOR THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE!!!

Well ill have to take there side on this one, if you went to a new computer they would charge you for the tune credits, but if its the original computer on a different motor it should be honored... Just my .02

I'm pretty sure that's a common sense deal...I would assume anyways. Bottom line is you just have to put yourself in the shops position...it would be financial suicide to go in the hole like that. I realize you are pissed but it is what it is man

Why didnt you just reuse your pcm and harness and swap over intake and sensors?
