Default Dave @ Yank

I've been needing to post this thread for a little bit now. A lot of you are aware of the issues I've had with my 4L80E swap with valvebody, pressure, converters etc... Anyway. I ordered a converter from another sponsor that wasn't what I really wanted. Lots of issues with the converter and trans both. Got a new built trans, had the converter rebuilt, more issues... Put the stocker in, all is well...

So... I call up Yank, explain the situation and he recommends his SC3000 4L80E/LS1 hybrid converter, and cut me a hell of a deal to boot. I also discovered a broken flexplate before the converter shipped so he in turn (without being asked, I was gonna get another stocker) hooked me up with a much needed SFI flexplate for a song. So far, this has been the most solid trans and converter combo that's ever been in this truck. And anybody who's been here any length of time knows my trans history. I've owned just about every brand converter out there and had LOTS of problems out of all of them, with the exception of the two Yank converters I've owned. If ya'll remember, I DD'd a cam/150 shot 5.3/FLT-5 65E/Yank SS3600 for two years and I never had a single converter related issue. Yank Performance has been the only converter compant yet to get repeat business from me.

Dave is THE GO-TO GUY for your converter needs. The truck makes boost faster, leaves harder, and pulls like no other up top... And drives GREAT.

Anyway, Dave and anybody who works for this company deserve an 'atta boy' for their work. Job well done

Ben
