The way it was worded above, you guys put the filter on first then put it in the bucket, which would be impossible to do. The stock pump has two inlets that pump from both the bottom of the tank and from inside the bucket. The way its setup, the bucket itself stays full of fuel at all times, so I thought maybe you guys were just using that feature.
This is how I had to modify my bucket......notice how the tube that the stock pump goes into has to be shaved down flat


There was no way my pump neck was going to fit into that tiny *** tube.
