For the record, I don't normally use HPT. Too Many errors in the templates/definitions in newer stuff. I finally gave up.

Lyndon Wester does most of the tuning now. He's taught more than his share that are/were sponsors on here.

I'm slowing down since I work for mostly dealers/shops and the EPA is moreso than ever. I'm focused on the hardware and behind-the-scene's stuff without commercially available software. It's to the point where I recommend people to tune their own with a base starter tune.

Jacksonville is definitely the place to go based on your location. If you look hard enough in FL., you'll find the person that most likely wrote your calibration in Detroit.

Slowec, sad to see you sold the STS turbo truck.

If the EPA passes the 15% ethanol content law in June,July, or August of this year, expect a ton of retunes!
OEM's are against it, but that normally doesn't stop the EPA.

Rodney, I'm the person who initially your the STS truck. Lyndon Wester did the spark tables on it. I was told by a tuner in Brunswick you did your own tuning. I don't think he's in business any longer.

Last week I got a job offer at one of the world's largest tuning companies, so I must have some sort of clue.

Lyndon is in Canada and been doing it since the 80's. I cannot state much b/c he's not a vendor nor am I. I know 2 of the sponsors one the right were former dealers of his. They learn the basics from him and do their own thing.

It doesn't matter who's software you use. EFI, HPT, TC, JET, Diablo, SCT ---- It's the tuner that changes the 0 and 1's that you cannot see via software that the ecu/flash memory uses.

You'd be suprised to find the 2 bar system people charge for were STOCK GM CALIBRATIONS on a certain vehicle.!!!!!!!
