ugh. thats ridiculus. so in theory, this guy could be driving it around this whole time, get pulled over and not arrested because it hasn't even been filed yet? i have a lot of respect for cops, but **** like that's ridiculus.

As soon as KB called the police an APB would have been put out for his truck.

that's some BS there!
i would be calling everyday to find out if the report wa turned in or not but i also think that would cause them to not turn it in until the 10th day......those bastards!
right now, i'm really hoping that they don't find it.
i know that sounds bad but i think it's for the better.
if they don't find it, you'll get the insurance money and you can payoff the loan.
ride around in your neon w/o truck payment and saving money for something else.
i think that was your whole intentions anyway when you decided to sell it right?

Well like Frito said he put out an ATB in the computer when he came to my house, it's just as far as the ppwk for the report that hasn't been turned in. It's not detrimental, but an inconvenience for sure...mainly because I still have to make payments on a truck that isn't in my driveway anymore. So the sooner this is taken care of and I can move on the better.

Yeah if everything works out it at least could give me an opportunity to save up some money...But at the same time the neon does need some work done in the next few months to keep it reliable so I will need a replacement vehicle soon. The worst part is all the money my cousin dumped into it is practically gone, I doubt HOI will cover the full amount of everything.

Well nothing yet. The officer has still not filed the report. I cannot submit my insurance paperwork without a copy of the police report so I'm stuck in the water at the moment. My adjuster said when I initially talked to her that if nothing is recovered in 15 days then it is considered at total loss. I can only hope that 15 days started counting down already....The A/C went out in the Neon (again LOL) so a replacement vehicle sure would be nice soon...
