Since I sold the truck, I've been gradually itching more & more for a new project. Though the LS swap was interesting, I felt that a lot of the "growing pains" & "learning curves" were unnecessary. And, I likely spent more than I needed too on miscellaneous stuff. Anyway....
The new toy is a '95 Impala SS. I've always wanted a '96, but for some reason, it never crossed my brain to actually get one before I was married with kids. Long story short, I settled for what I thought was descent, but found that used ANYTHING always has an issue (or a few) with it. It is what it is....

The interior is a work in progress still, but the seats are great. The carpet was crappy, so I replaced it with new carpet. The seller stored the car with fuel in it for 6-8 months w/o stabilizer. Had quite an issue running the car longer than 10 minutes or so. It had an exhaust leak out of this world. Found out yesterday that the passenger side manifold was completely cracked. A buddy (white1) was kind enough to weld that back together as a temporary fix. I have quite a grocery list of things I plan to get done to it, but it'll take some time to make it a reliable runner.
In due time...

Sorry, guys... no swaps this time... I know of too many LT1s running/beating LSx setups for the same $$$ or less. The additional cost not feasible this year. Got a route I want to go with this one. If the "chips" fall right within the next year or so, this one won't be a slouch at all!
