We just got back from being completely stupid...

My buddies 1995 ECSB Z71 just hit 108 MPH (GPS). 238k miles on a stock motor... Poor thing. Hypertech chip, K&N Filter, No Cat, Super duper turbo muffler, 9500lb winch, brushguard, and several hundered pounds of Mud...

Skinnymans 2000 Civic shut down at 113MPH (GPS) Speedo read ~120.

I hit 139 and let out of it before i hit 140 (140 it cuts off) 139=~5400rpms in 3rd..
I only got to 128 with the GPS the one time i had it in my truck... and EFI Live said ~130.
Supprisingly my truck felt very smooth at that speed, no vibrations at all, just alot of wind noise from the crappy window seals.
So mine is pretty close. Stupid me didnt log any runs...

So that was our early morning, Dont worry guys we never saw another car on the interstate. So only our stupid selves were in danger...

Yea, one drunkidly stupid night I hit my speed limiter at 156. Not a good idea. I need a new pitman arm and idler arm. Stupid and scary. But if its solid. see what shell do.

Brad got a 97 in a 70 after he put a 160* Thermostat in the green z71. It was pinging with the 195*.

 

I told him at ricks he was going to need a t stat...I guess he needed a ticket too. Where did he get his driving award???
