Be careful. I remember going thru Charlotte, N.C. about 6 months after Hugo came thru and everything was still screwed up pretty bad. They are about 250 miles inland. This one looks worse than Katrina.

I wish all you guys over there the best. She is starting to get a little dissorginised today so lets hope this is starting a weakening trend. We are still going to see a good bit of rain from her so that dosnt help the rebuilding effort any.

I think it is too late to evacuate town. All of the gas stations on the Houston area are completely sold out. I drove around on less than half a tank of gas today and reached "E" before I can find a Chevron to put gas and it took an hour for me to get to the gas pump. Is taking 8-10 hours on 1-45N just to get to Huntsville were it usually takes 1hour and half.Peolple are still and the freeway since 9pm last night with minimal advancement. Also 1-10W is horendus is taking 8-10 hours just to get to Katy were is takes 45min. I think we're gonna weather the storm out. The Highways out of town of Houston are backed up for miles and miles. Gas is the major issue now no one has and the Governor has ordered the military to air lift gas to where people are runin' out. But most highways are opening the contraflow lanes to eliviate the traffic. Crap! I must as well stay I dont wont run out of gas in the middle of BFE!!
