and for what it's worth, I wait about 12K-15K miles before switching to synthetic. I don't know any truth to my reasoning, but it's just the way I roll

I changed to M1 at first 1000miles. Don't the Corvettes come stock with synthetic?

i didnt mean to call him sharlie my bad. but this guy told me hes a real good mechanic and good guy to wait till about 10k and put synthetic in.

After all, synthtic is not slicker than dino oil, it just doesn't breakdown as fast and maintains viscosity longer.

and should i move up to a little thicker oil instead of 5w 30
