he was supposed to drive this thing Saturday, but canceled on me. I had never launched an Auto before. We just got it going.....he hasn't even driven it yet.


Kyle just packed his bags and headed to Tallahassee on Sunday. Transfered to college there. You still runnin ??

This is my Daily driver. I didn't want a radical 500 rwhp motor, could have done that easy. I kept compression at 11:0 and a mild cam for the street (601 lift). The wife loves to drive it also. I can always shave the heads and swap cams if I want. I should be able to drive to the track, run low 11's and then drive to work the next day.

Got rid of the truck about a year ago and bought an 04 cobra. I still visit the forums almost every day and see whats going on. Keep up the good work on that thing.

 

The truck is awesome Pitt. Are you gonna make it to Gainsville on the 31st.

 

Yeah man, I will be there. The vette will remain in the garage...the Silverado hits the track. I have friends coming from Calorado, North Carolina, Tampa, Alabama and Jacksonville in their vettes for a big Party there. I lost my job and afraid to run the vette. If it breaks, it stays broke !!

Nice #'s Dyno and track. Truck's running strong, sure done a good job with it.

 

Thanks man !! Sure is a fun packed little thing !! Will have 12" slicks and 4.5 skinny's next time I run. Should make a big difference in my launch and first gear.
