I would sell you my 6L but it would be wise to put new cam bearings in it and that means pulling the rotating assembly and Im sure you dont want to mess with putting the motor back together.

 

it's all about the price man, i would buy it if it was the right price because i have plenty of time. the motor runs and everything and feels good but i dont want to keep dealing with this ****

hey man i know how ya feel once my motor blew it was down hill from there..once i got it goin..the trans only two weeks with it and i finally got my new built trans last week and it lasted 5 days and now im stuck tryin to find some ones car to drive around..since my truck is my daily driver..

 

Get somebody who knows what they are doing to build your trans or get an 80E!

 

ones of the parts they didnt replace and thought was good but i guess not..they are pullin the trans and redoing everything..better them pull it than me..ive pulled the trans out of that thing about 6 times

 

no i havent talked to TJ about the seals. it seems to be about the same as before actually. so i have no idea... i gave my mom a heads up and she was like well what could it be? then i said maybe piston rings and then i explained all that was involved in replacing them and said i might as well look into a used motor and she said "sounds like it" so that was a success. maybe there is hope for me in the future.
