The intake was mounted up(with the TB taped off) until this weekend. Right now I have a t-shirt laid over the runners to keep **** out. I think I'm ok...

looks like a fun project there, your truck looks sweet! ! 100 times better in real photos than your sig pic, just constr. crit. too scrunched for me.

starter's off, rest of the wiring harness removed from the lower side. I'm going to get the instake manifold off and exhaust manifolds unbolted today. I sprayed them down with PB blaster, so I think they should break loose...if not, I'll just convince them with a 1/2" impact

If time permits, I'll get the bellhousing unbolted. I can't WAIT to get this thing done!!!

Come on slow poke. You only need 4 hours of hard work to get the damn thing out. Take the waterpump off it will be much easier to get out, and turn the motor sideways. Make sure oyu put the load leveler as close as possible to the valley cover otherwise it will snag the top of the firewall when you go to lift the motor out.
