there's no way I could run a better 60' than you though right now dude... thats just physics. you have more cubes, more torque, AWD, and a ******* 4000 converter.... to my 2WD, street tires, 3200 converter, spinning like a maniac... it wouldnt even be close through first gear until I get some slicks and spray it out of the hole and hope it sticks... I run WAY better on the top of the track...
Should be a good race, whens this going down?

we'll see dude... you will never find out what cam goes in this thing... my specs are classified... all I know is yours are way too much for a stock cubed 6.0 in a 5600lb+ truck... not to mention those heads... that converter will be your only saving grace... that motor wont do **** under 4000 RPM.... and unless you are spinning it to 7 grand it's going to be useless... then, there's the flatlining truck intake as soon as you get into the power of that cam... but thats cool... your 6.0 on motor Vs my 5.3 on spray will be a good race...

-my intent of this thread wasnt to call you out as you took it... all I was doing was busting your ***** for being the self-proclaimed "stock shortblock n/a SS KING" and you havent driven your truck more than 10 miles since the new converter... and havent even heard the new cam... or gotten it tuned... or built the exhaust system... etc etc etc.... see what I'm sayin???

just f'n with ya... no need to bunch up panties. I know my ****'s slow as hell, I just want to bust into the 12's on the bottle... I'll be happy with that out of an extended cab and a 100K motor thats untouched besides a cam and springs... your trying to set some kind of ******* land sped record with the wrong setup... if I'm wrong then I'll eat my worda all day long.. but I just dont think I am. Just 'cause someone spec'd out that heads and cam and all that **** for what you want, doesnt mean you'll necessarily get there IMO...

-or- just post your setup and let everyone else see what they think too??? Just so I can be proven wrong...

I was just commenting on the fact that my truck does run suprisingly well on the top end of the track... I went 14.0's @ 101 @ 102 on a COMPLETELY stock 5.3 with stock converter, open diff, 3.42's 255 wide Toyos.... the only significant mods is are 125 shot and tune and headers/cutouts... all while having tranny issues... I am happy with my pig for no more money that I had in it at the time...

ok, buddy wtf ever... all I want to know is where did you get your automotive engineering degree? Oh you haven't even went to college??? What a surprise?! Talk all you want, I'm not impressed.

What it boils down to is you're all talk, anybody can put a thread up on the internet... that's easy. It takes ***** to put money or a title on the line. But you won't I know, the truth is you know I'll take you out. And don't use the "I'm broke" excuse either. You just bought an FLT trans a montyh ago, and are funding a custom cam now, you're not broke.

The very best you'll be able to do is a 12.5... and I'll be close to that N/A. If you grow a sack and pill it up you'll blow that 120k mi motor so don't bother.

sometimes experience with different things is priceless... you can only learn so much from a book... how much college have you had???
