that is ridiculous, i cant believe they would allow such a thing with that large of a crowd on side the road!

Maybe the event coordinators didn't have any knowledge that he was going to do that. Maybe they thought he would stay stationary to perform the burnout. I haven't seen all the details...but I think the driver is ultimately responsible at this point...

I read about that a few minuted ago, and it said in the article that the event had been going on for 18 years, and they had always done the burnouts at the end of the show, but they were supposed to shut the car down before the end of the guardrail. This guy just overdid it.

6 dead now!! Yes pretty stupid!! maybe sitting there line locked burning out but not full out dumb *** flying out of control. That kind of thing pisses me off

Sorry, but I don't care how experienced that driver was, he of all people should know not to do something like that.
