I'm wondering what makes this thread "political"? Someone posted something that happened in the news that a lot of people are interested in. That has nothing to do with politics. I do understand that at one time Saddam was a political leader, now hes a dead hanged bastard

Could not have said it better, Ranwalk. I know that if there is something that I do not wish to see, I will not bother to waste my time looking at it.
It's not as if there was bashing for something that SHOULD HAVE happened. This was a legal ruling by Mid-Eastern government. Given Saddam's history, judgement was passed, and the sentence was issued. Everyone knows of his past actions, and I'm QUITE SURE that if this were done in America by some "wanna be" tyrant, a similar outcome would happen. "Do the crime, do the time." Why should anyone be exempt? What makes me better than you, or you better than I. Coincide together peacefully, or reap what you sew.

that guy is just a liberal, brain washed, tree hugging pansy from the People's Republic of Kalifornia... just ignore him, he doesn't know any better. He probably thinks that Sadam's penalty should have been to give the surviving families a hug and collect a nice retirement check for the rest of his life. 
I'm glad they hung him, they should have televised it world wide to etch this in the minds of criminals that if you do wrong there are penalties to be had
