Anyone finish the swap yet? anyone find anything unexpected with the old springs?

just sent him an email. like i said i haven't had any problems with mine but i don't want to chance it. can't go wrong with getting free replacements.

I spoke to texas-speed.com Trevor... he said that they are doing new ones and they are going to be 919's...was thinking of getting a cam kit but they are on back order so i'll wait and see what happens...

I'm waiting until i do my head swap, then I'll put mine on.

I talked to Chris he said the fedex labels are good for 30 days so I can wait a week or 2 before I do it, there is no big rush.

Chris from Comp Cams explained that the new springs are supposed to be 26918 just as the old ones were known as. When they were first being sent out they were sent under a 928 part number though, however now they are the official 918.

I'm not sure where he is getting his information, but he needs to check again.

Mine came a few days ago...they look much beefier to me. Chris was a great help; I emailed him during the week and they showed up 2 days later! I need to buy a Vinci spring compressor.
