Lol, all I heard from everybody for a while was that modding my 4.8 was a waste of time, why would they put a 4.8 in a cc, blah blah, funny thing is that I'd lay money on running just as good or better than a similar modded 5.3!

I don't have any good et's for it yet. Last time at the track I was having trouble with MAF so it was cutting out horrible off the line and my torque converter is way too loose. It's so loose that I can't even powerbrake it and spin the tires, it just blows right through it

SnOwball, you sure that's a 3200 stall? I can powerbrake mine no problem in second!! Just ask my poor tires! LOL. With my stock cam and 34-3600 converter.

Rhini79 do you have any trouble powerbraking yours? I just noticed SnOwball had a 4.8 but with a cam he should really be making a little more power than me. Oh well just wondering. Still trying to figure out these trucks and combos.

My truck in street trim weighs about 4850 without me. In track form like it will be tomorrow it is about 4600 to 4650 without me. My converter is super loose but I can still powerbrake and spin, that being said I can footbrake 4000 on radials....lol.

Yeah it will stall between 3000-3200 before it starts trying to turn the tires over. Thats with 22's on a 305/40/22 tire also so that's not helping. But it should still blow the tires off powerbraking. Idk what the deal is it's pretty frustrating. Hell from a 20mph punch it'll spin the tires dang near till you let out of it. Just not from a stop
