Why not go 6.0? Mine lasted 3 years on 10 psi beating on it all day long lol. It was slow but got the job done.


Oh and suggestions on places to eat guys. I am here to entertain this year since I haz no race truck


I will be thinking of some places and post them when I get a few.

oh and to all of those who haven't reserved your room, please tell everyone to get that done. As of the 31st we lose the group rate and I have them saved under my name. If you don't know my real name just pm me I will cancel these rooms on hold in my name shortly after Oct 31 so I don't get charged. So again PLEASE tell everyone to get their reservations made!!!!!!!

6.0's are getting hard to find and everybody wants wayy too much for them.. 4.8 and 5.3s are dirt cheap

and 10psi from a lil MP70 vs a big borg warner is a pretty big difference, learned that. gotta add quite a bit of fuel for the same boost levels. its crazy!



I got mine up to 15psi a couple times and all it does is spin in top of 2nd and goes lean, no fun!
saw 150% IDC on these 84# injectors.

thats nuts!!!!! Yea you should be able to make awesome power on 8 psi with that big jet engine hanging off the side of the 5.3 lol. There is a 6.0 on TA for sale right now.... they are few and far between but def worth the extra i guess. Time to get some 170# inj and be done

Ewww! Dough boy and dynomite told me about this! Said it was knocking like hell after you smashed on it! Thats why i use nitrous! Cheaper and safer!

Yea I hadn't had the new turbo on there 24 hours yet and I found the limits of my fuel pump. They called me while I was tuning and told me to smash on it and I did and it dropped pressure and leaned out to 15.0 afr at 14 psi. Not good...
And Chris yea a good 6.0 is hard to find around here for a good price but the good news is i just got back from petal with a good looking 06 5.3. It looks dam good and clean. So I'm pulling the heads this weekend and will be installing arp studs and ls9 gaskets. I'll be ready for booooost in no time!
Might be a lil laggy with the 87mm turbine and 1.25 ar housing lol...
