Ok lets see what each other have planned for the truck before the years end..........that means Dec 31st is the cut off date. I want to see who can get done what they say they will have done.

Since i started the thread, here is my plans...


Install my rear slotted/drilled rotors complete
Install my rear Hawk hps pads complete
Install my 5 line Earl's SS brake lines
Install Katech Rod bolts complete
Install LS2 timing chain complete
Install my 6L if it is ok
Fit a ls6 intake on it (if i have the money) gathering parts now
Install my Sub amp
Install my Infinity component speakers
Install my shock that i didnt do when i did the other one complete
i even polished the two back wheels


Wax the truck for the first time since new paint.

Break the 11's on gas and 12's on motor.


my list is small, yet, i don't feel like doing any of it. Lets see what your plans are.

 

My truck is at Synergy getting buttoned up and tuned this week.
When i get it home i'll have it up on stands for a few days while the wheels are re-polished, courtesy of the tire store.
If it stays cool like it was this week I hope to break 13's.

 

put back 15k, thats it!!! next year mods are going to be fun.

4.10 gears
FLT Level 4 tranny w/ Yank 3000 converter
Comp 918 valve springs
Thunder Racing hardened pushrods
ASP underdrive pulley w/ alt pulley
TB spacer
Eaton locker w/ install kit
2/4 drop & drop shocks
A bunch of other random cam swap stuff

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things, I thought everything would be installed by July 22nd but it didn't work out.

Plans:
Break the RCSB N/A 5.3 record, which I doubt will happen.
Run an 11.5x w/ 100 shot.

Oh, and I want to get all of the exterior stuff done as well. All in all, I want this truck completely finished by Oct. 1'st if not before. After that, it's play time.

install Cam
Pushrods
rodbolts
Pistonrods
then put the 6.0 in
install 3000 stall

depending on funds i would also like to start a turbo build

Sub : pull motor ( & rebuild again )
replace carpet
replace headliner
4in lift on her
fix electric windows
paint
new rims & tires
lots of mis. things
All of that has to be done before we start cutting rice

Not much on the 2000
install new heads
install 3" pulley
cam (have not decided on one yet)

And I have 2 Kicker 10" L5's in the computer room,but I dont know witch
ride I want them in .

 

1 thing I will have on my 97 soon is a ramjet,then we will go from there.After that a 383

Buy gears, giggle gas, and freaking pacesetter ORY tomarrow. I wussied out last week. haha

Then i get to install all of the above including fab up my new exhaust the way i want it. The gas is gonna be a PITA to do the way i want it. ME AND ELECTRICITY DONT GET ALONG.

fix little **** on front end including locate proper paint color for my truck and paint all of my plastics.

look into paintless dent removal.
