I'm partial to front mounts as they are much simpler and proven performers and the rear mount just has to much piping for my liking

69-G885410 Motive Performance Gears, 4.10 Gear Ratio, 3 series carrier, GM 8.5" 10 bolt rear end $189.95

185-19559-1 Eaton Posi Limited Slip Differential, GM 10 Bolt 8.5", 30 spline, 2.76 and up. $489.99

I highly recommend the gears and diff.
I bought my gears and posi on Ebay.
Motive 4.10 gears - $120
Detroit TrueTrac - $390
Just trying to stretch your budget.
