Here she is guys. With a grand total of $650 invested in it so far. As soon as those good ole income taxes come in, she'll be sportin a pair of 15x3.5 front/15x10 rear, WELD draglites or pro stars (haven't made up my mind yet) and prally a set of drag radials. Seein as how greyghost came out of the woodworks with 400 ponies, I need a fire lit under my *** to get this thing together soon. Watch out d-poo, call me old school but the winebago motor's comin for ya...
I'd have the engine in the shop now but there too busy tryin to get the hair dryers back on twinturbos sowing machine...

I wish I had a 454 to stuff in there. My dad has a built 454 with a powerglide and a 4000 stall. I tried to talk him out of it but no go. He's building a vega wagon. If the ugly = fast rule applies here, that thing is gonna be a rocket!
Anyway, my original plans were to build a ls1 drag car, but the car wasn't in as good a shape as I thought it was. I already have a 350/th350 setup. So I decided to remove the heater/ac, and just build an old school drag car. We took this engine straight out of a junkyard, (out of a WINEBAGO) didn't touch the bottom end. Added double hump cast iron heads, vic jr intake, and a wore out 650 holley, stuck it in an 84 camaro with stock stall, stock gears, and th350 trans with shift kit and ran a 14.5. It will be forged this time, have aluminum heads and a much better carb.
Now maybe down the road, after I've gotten the WELD's, the cage, the 12" rear, and everything else, I might just start building a 6.0 to swap back in it. Its just something to bash on right now.

Looks like a straight body car, bro. Now you really need a set of 17" SS wheels for it for the street.
I might know where you can pick up a set sometime.
Anyway, its going to be a fun project for ya and its good to have another camaro that will be running around soon!
