Anyone have any reports of horsepower lost with the stock muffler? I have longtubes, no cats, going into a stock catback with a 24 inch long Hooker Aerochamber welded in place of the original muffler. It used to be nice and rumbly. Now with the headers its just to loud sometimes. When I want it loud it sounds awesome, but its loud and resonating anytime else. Kinda wierd but 65 mph sounds twice as loud as 60 mph. I still have my stock muffler, thinking of using that or ordering a Flo-Pro.

I did for a little while before I pulled the headers. I had LTs with the stock muffler. It sounded just like an old caddy. I had a cutout right infront of the stock muff for when I wanted to be obnoctious.

You will loose power with the stock muff

A 24" Aerochamber? Didn't know they made them that long. My Aerochamber got a little raspy when I cut the cats off. Sounds great, still not to loud and has very little drone. But, Friday my Corsa goes on!!!

It was a direct replacement muffler for OBS trucks. It fit pretty good with a short piece of pipe. The drone isnt too bad sometimes but I would rather have it quieter while accellerating slowly or cruising. Sounds awesome at WOT. I am trying to do a little research on Flo-Pro mufflers, might be something I go with.
