a buddy of mine lives right down the road from the body shop the truck was at and he said he saw it being hauled away on a flat bed

Ya, that sucks *****, but it couldda been worse. I've always admired that truck in your sig picture. I've got a birthday curse myself. April 17th, so right around the same time as the Titanic sinking, the fire at Waco, Texas, the Columbine massacre, the Oklahoma city bombing, the Virginia Tech massacre, and closer to home, my grandparents on my dad's side died on my 3rd and 15th birthdays. I know the feeling dude. Have fun shopping for the next project.

k so here's the deal...they paid the truck off...wouldnt let me pull anything out of the truck cause then they wouldnt of been able to pay it off...gave me $8,877.69 for it...more than i thought actually...
was just wanting to pull the motor out but like i said, they wouldnt of paid me that much if i had pulled the motor out.
called my bank to see if they would be getting the salvage title to the truck so that i might be able to get the title and then pull the motor but my bank isnt getting the salvage title...
but all in all, im just glad i came out of that alive...gonna look for a truck this weekend...kinda found one already but they are asking just a tad bit for it so i think i can talk them down quite a bit...
and then there is knee surgery in the morning
