Well guys. It's been a good eight months here at Rivercity Nissan. I really enjoyed sittin on my *** behind a computer instead of bustin my knuckles under a hood, but it looks like my time here is about up. For those of you that don't know Greenville Ms, let me start by saying its a
hole. It wasn't always this way. Its not a very big town but its overrun with, lets just say "rude *** people". The people with money are moving out and the people without money are moving in. There's been a dominoe effect of large factories closing down in the past years including U.S.AX, a carpet manufacturing plant that my mom worked at for about 17 years. Last week the Kia dealership down the road closed its doors, and from the looks of things this morning, I'd say we're about to do the same. A sherrif pulled up and started putting orange stickers on every car on the lot. Now of course no one is going to tell us whats going on. We wont know anything until we show up and the front doors are locked.
Now, I'm not sweatin losing my job. I can always go back to the toyota dealership as a technician, but that doesn't leave much time for PT.net. or other internet acctivities.
Either way, I'm not goin straight back, I think I'll wait a week or two, have a little me time, before I jump back into employment. This will give me plenty of time to work on my car..
Think I'll leave em a little something when I go. I got "take this job and shove it" downloaded on my computer. I think I'll lock the front doors, lay the phone beside the computer speaker with the external intercom on, turn it up on max and walk out the back door locking it behind me...
