in Texas???? sounds more like Florida to me... but the humidity thing won't bother him a bit, he lives in the swamps right now and it gets well in to the upper 90's in the shade on a regular basis....

so Randy, need to get rid of that white and silver streak in your front yard??? I could use a few parts off of it

Last I had heard, he had started a small garden in the bed of the truck. Should produce some fast growing vegetables though.

Randy- Oh, great.....just what we need.......another Texan with a chip on his shoulder.

Which reminds me... since we talked about this yesterday... if I know you, you won't be picking up any additional tranny work. If that's the case, then drop them tools off to me on your way out. I could use 'em!

Good luck with the decision. I can't say what some of the contractors are paying specialty pros, but there is a job fair that Marathon Petroleum is sponsoring in Laplace on Saturday. There's a slew of construction companies scheduled to be there looking for workers... including the company you mentioned in your post.

Marathon Job Fair Link

Again... Good luck!

Come to wisconsin. Us plumbers and pipefitters make 33.00 and hour. IF you know how to weld we are putting up two power plants and we will be there for a few years. You just have to be good at laying the pipe!!!!
