Well, i feel like i have a good combination now
Some of you know i had a 5.3 bored 30 and a GT-42 turbo. Something went wrong in the engine it was making a noise i could not live with.
So i was talking with Mark (turbogibbs) about it and he agreed to build an engine for me. Then all of the decisions had to be made. I'm not really a guy that does what everybody else does, so we decided to bore my block and stroke it to get some extra room in there. Put a nice cam with a slight bumpity bump to it and a new PI 3200 converter.
The engine loves the GT-42 now and the stall seems to compliment everything very good. I was out tuning early this morning and got everything in line to 8#. This freakin thing ROCKS .
Unlike the old setup off the line (read from a redlight) almost instant boost i can't wait to see how much my 60' improves.
Looks like Mark did a good job .

 

Congrats Curt, one of these days you'll have to take me for a ride in it.

 

More cubes and that stall will definately get rid off alot of lag. You need to get back to the track now Curt.

David...i am anxious to get to the track. I've had the engine in a little over a week, when it gets a solid 15# tune i'll be there

 

Did you get the indicator for the trans figured out?
