it's alive and....

badder than before. i brought the 6.0 to life tonight. basically i had to hook the intake and plugs up as well as headers and exhaust and all that jazz.
had a problem. i put a ground to the wrong location and it wouldn't allow the truck to start. it just clicked. made a few phone calls and started looking in the book. saw something out of place, made the correction and it fired right up.
it even idles better than the 5.3. imagine that.
so all in all, it runs great. i had to make some minor adjustments to the spark table to get my timing up. it had only 9 degrees at wot. tune needs a lot of work. put about 20 miles on it then found a L to play with.
we ran three times. first time from 20mph. i put a truck and a half at 3/4 throttle.
second time from 50 i put about 4 cars at wot.
third time at 80 i put 2 plus at wot but i let out pretty soon. granted it was a stock L but all in all. the truck pulls much harder. oh yea, i had a rad hose come off cause i didn't clamp it back right. lost my coolant. no biggy.

I made notes on all the grounds and crossed them off as I put them back on, otherwise I would not have been able to keep up with where they went.
