I don't want to admit that

I'd like to pull at least a 14.2-14.1 in warm weather. I spun off the line tonight on all the runs, but not terribly bad. It seems to like stalling higher, but I just can't do it on street tires. Slicks are out of the question right now though.

I forgot my helmet, thought about it when I was turning in the gate at HRP( like I needed it lol). Anyways here are the times.

Times like it runs on the street.

1st
2.22
9.15 @ 79.89
14.12 @ 97.62

2nd pass no time for some reason

3rd
2.29
9.28 @ 79.49
14.27 @ 97.10

4th I put the slicks on and took the tailgate off

2.40
9.37 @ 79.22
14.42 @ 97.19 what the helll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It felt like it bogged down off the line. I really thought I would get out of the hole better going from a 30" tall tire to a 26" tire. The only thing I did different on the last run was stalled it up to about 1000 to 1100. The first three I took off from idle.

The no time pass was by far the best. I pulled up about three cars from the burnout box. This guy in a new mustang GT pulls up next to me and looks over and gives me this look like what the f%$# do you have a truck out here for. Well I get lined up with him He has me by a fender to about the 60' Then I start pulling on him. Then I REALLY pull on his no driving gear missin ***. He found his gear but I kept pulling on down the track and beat him by about 5 or 6 I think.

No clue. It felt like I was glued to the track at the starting line.

with the 2.40 60' then it would seem you spun off the line bad and or you got the wrong slip.

He was lined up with me on that race, we were mirror to mirror at the finish line. I ran a shitty 14.4X on that run also, he just had a faster mph - that's why he caught back up.
