Now if you ever upgrade to an aftermarket performance cam, the 4.10's will pull harder for you, cause you'll be making more power up higher in the powerband. But for a stock cam, 3.73's are the best overall choice IMO.

I agree with all of you. I guess Charlie and I were going a little conservative to see what it would do. Maybe this weekend or something I'll see if he can change little, but I already have a 93 octane 'hot' tune so I don't think it will be timing. Torque management is decreased by 70% in tow/haul mode, might bump that some too.
Stewart, I guess you would know about reving it up, being the king of the stock cam! I kind a figured it would top out torque/hp around 5400 but I guess I can try little higher, kinda like Curtis.
Curtis, I got the 4.10's knowing I would be doing a cam eventually with the bolt ons I already have. Radix eventually too but that'll be a great long while.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Should pull pretty well. Your effective gear ratio is smaller than mine I guess around 3.90 with 31" compared to mine, 29"? I wonder what a good shift point will be on that. What cam is going to have in it?

meatwad, Im pretty sure your shiftpoints are killing you,,, when I had the stock can I was shifting 1-2 @6000 and 2-3 @ 6200... and I had 3.42's back then... tell your tuner to increase them...
now me with the 4.10's and after the 2-3 shifts it feels like it is still pulling not like my 3.42's they would definatley fall on its face on the 2-3 shift...
Colby, I think that 6.0 will do good with you gears, but you are going to have alot of traction issues, you definately going to have to get some e/t's...

meatwad, it will have the stock cam......I'm shootin' for an LQ9 crate engine. I think I'll be happy with the stock LQ9 and my bolt on's for a little while
