2002C5COUPE...Do you have a black RC? I was there with the Titan guys just watching and your truck looked quick.

Same to you V8. I saw you running 12.6's last winter though...what gives? Or was it just the warmer weather?

AP2002...Do you remember me from last year? Silver RC Hemi truck...I was going 13.3's last time at HRP. I have some new goodies now though and plan to bring you guys some competition this year ...I should be hitting the track again in mid-late November, so I will post up if anyone wants to join me.

Also were you there Friday, or was that a different white extended cab? The one I saw was fast, but showed no time.

I ended up ditching the bars and buying some cal-tracs. As for power mods, the truck is in MN getting a 370" stroker and built tranny. I also added ported heads, bigger cam, 4bbl intake manifold, 3500stall converter, and some true Hoosier slicks instead of the DR's. I'm expecting alot out of this, so we will see how it runs as soon as the truck gets back home. I am supposed to have it back in the middle of November, so I will post up when I am going to the track.

The white truck I was talking about is one that I have seen out there many times...He never shows a time and is always real secretive on what he has done to it and what the truck runs. I am with you though...run what ya brung and dont worry about others seeing your ET.

Not sure what is going on with the truck, it is a brand new create motor, with a large cam so it could be too tight not sure yet, but what it runs is what it runs hahhhaaa, not really worried about it any more, just to have fun and make it very streetable is the goal untill the new camaro gets here.
Hope the new setup of yours does what you want.

What is different between this motor and your old setup?

damn seems like its going to be a good setup, that 3500 stall and true slicks should get you out of the hole pretty good... im also thinking about getting some caltracs if I dont stop having traction issue's..
by the way who is tuning the dodges??? is there a tuning software now available for it?

well good luck on the new setup and post up when you are headed to HRP...

NO you're mistaken ap2002, it is a stock cast iron 5.3, only difference is the cam, 228 230 from 226 226, but it should run better then it did friday.

I checked the rods for proper length today and they were way to long so I
changed out the 7.425 push rods for the stock length 7.400 so we will see.

We still dont have any custom tuning available. I was just tuning my WOT fuel trims with a Perfect Power SMT6. Diablo and SCT both claim to be real close with the tuning, but I have heard that before...I will believe it when I see it.

I'm very anxious to see how your truck runs on spray next time you go. Are you hitting the nitrous out of the hole, or after the launch? And what size shot are you giving it?

We built my new motor to take a 300 shot if I want to
