well I picked up the truck today from getting the 4.11's and trutrac installed.... man I was ready to play with it, but I had some bad news... I got to be easy for the first 500miles, then I can play with it??? so I wont know until next weekend or so?? by the way on the way back home my wife paced right next to me at 70mph, and mine was at 90mph!! the speedometer is way off!! and the rpm's are about at 2300rpm @ 70mph.... not bad, I was already having second thoughts about installing those gears, but overall all I think I'll be happy, cant wait to get it tuned to see how it really works... oh and no humming at all!!!! if any one needs some gear/posi installed let me know, this guys seems to know his ****!!

by the way is 2300rpm @ 70mph about right with the 4.11's??.

 

that may be about right depending on your tire diameter. I'm running about 2200 RPM at 70mph....but my tires are 31" tall.

Who did your gears?

 

I am running stock 05 silvy wheels, I think they are very close to a 31"tall? I hope after the tune it'll drop down a little..

a guy from spring, texas did my gears..... I higly recommend him....
