No!
My next appointment will be involving a GM engineer. They will make their final evaluation on what to do next to my truck to fix it or replace it.
It has to be as stock as possible. That's what the Assistant service manager told me.
Hoping for a fix soon. Starting to not like my truck cause of this.

Motor is doing fine still smokes like a bitch at start up but after that clears up some and still burns a bit of oil Im thinking one of the second compression rings cracked/broke upon install. I blew the 65e it can still be driven but nothing over probably 35% throttle or it slips bad. Im in the process of getting an 80e lined up to get it put in Im not going to do the install it for the first time Ill pay someone to do the work lol. This **** is getting expensive to say the least.

have you figured it out yet??? I would say either something is grounding out that shouldnt be or it is your alternator... I killed 3 batts like this too... there was a small wire rubbed and it just drained everything to the frame and next thing I knew I was fukd. I had my alt rebuilt to 160amp with new internals and never had a problem after I went with my optima batt and replaced that wire. the alternator looks stock but it makes a good bit of juice.
