Charlie posted on another board it was a 1.68 60'. Still getting out of the hole for the little 4.8.

 

sounded like you went into 4th gear around the 1200 mark?? thoses 4.56 gears get that thing out of the whole for sure, nice times.

 

Man that thing is movin for a 4.8l!!

 

thanks guys for all the comments, It was a 1.68 60' with a tiny bit of spin... the truck makes about 330 on motor and 390 on a 50 shot that i did not use that day.. soon it will make close to 400 on motor hopefully, Im gonna try the trickflow 4.8/5.3 heads and see what they do, I'm happy with the truck, its the slowest thing i have ever owned but its twice as fun because its a truck!!!

 

the truck does not even use fourth gear in the quarter gentlemen

Real nice for a 4.8. Any plans of a 6.0+ going in it? You could skip the TFS heads for the 4.8 and pick up an LQx for it for about the same price IMO. Whole lot more potential with a 6 litre.

 

what cam are you useing and where are you shifting it at

 

by the way nice truck and nice build it is moven for sure.
