Default help with cam choice

well my dodge got toataled and now im in a 93 rc styleside 302 ford but you work with what you got i want a cam just no idea what kind or size also ordered some Lt headers for it any info would be helpfull also if any one knows bout what kind of a gain might be seen

im looking at an edl 2122 specs at 270/280 duration and .448/.472 with 112 lob seperation but i dont know much about cams thats why im asking for help is that to big not big enough just never camed any thing a really want to

there isnt many people on here familiar with the fords, so dont be discouraged, no one posts anything.

im guessing that duration is advertised duration and not a .050

yes it is but i really dont know what that means at all dont want to sound dumb or anything just never fooled with coms before

i looked and its a 204/214 at .050

they noted that its not for 85-later engines with roller lifters

that first one on the page is that an aggressive cam or just a mild one cause i realy dont know what any of that info means like lobe seperation being 110 what is all that dont want one to hit so hard it sounds like it will go dead every time it hit but i do want to hear it at idle

i hear ya lobe separation is how the idle will be 110 is going to be super choppy if you want to hear it i would find one with 112 to 114. like this one
