Default Gotta go sell some blood!

I just orderd a set of Bogart racing wheels, now I need to sell some blood, sperm, drugs or something to have some $$$.They told me that they will be here in about 4 weeks , but I hope they will arrive about a week early so I can go to the track the next time I am off work. I still have to order my tires. I think I am going with 28x14.5 Hooiser Quick Time Pro's on the rear, and probably just some cheap Volswagon style tires for the front skinnies for right now. If I still have traction problems after I put the 14.5's on, I am just gonna give up racing. here is a pic of the style I orderd

Damn, man, that is going to look sweet as hell and you should have zero problem of hooking them up. I'm going to have to shave my calipers down some on the rear so I can run a wide *** 15" for the track.

Can't wait to see them on the truck at the track!!!

My rear wheels are 16x11 or 11.5. It was hard debating on going with the 15 or 16. I know there are more tire choices for 15's, but as many newer F-Bodies, Mustangs,Vette's, and trucks that are having to run 16" tall wheels, they are beginning to make more tire choices. I decide to just get the 16" because they are only $100 higher for the rear pair than 15's, and with the trouble of shaving the calipers, $100 more is worth it.
My front wheels are 15x5, but on the front calipers, all I have to do is clean them up a little, it is not much grinding involved on them.
I called Summit before ordering the wheels to make sure I could get atleast a 12.5 tire, but all Hooiser has is a 10.5,11.5, and 14.5 in the 28"tall QTP.

A friend of mine runs those wheels on his lightning and he runs Hoosiers 28x11.50x16 on the back and he only spins them every now and then off the line. And his truck run 6.8-9's in 1/8 and 10.80's in the 1/4.

I just want to be sure I can spray off the line. When I was running 26x11.5's, I was having to wait untill 2nd gear to spray, and with the little bitty shot of nitrous I have, first gear is where all the differnce is on my truck.
I know there is a BIG diffenrce in 26's and 28's, but I just want to be sure to get the 60' time I need to run 11's.
