Well, our usual gravel road 1/4 track that snakes through the backwoods is always an option for a meet. The first outhouse you come to is the starting line and the two moonshining stills is the end of the 1/4. Yes, we will still hang people, but that is if they are caught trying to escape from the plantation to the north or caught stealing some of grandpa's old cough syrup. MS law still states that we can handle these situations as we see fit, and we don't take too kindly to people trying to escape for their freedom.

No, for real......do you northerners out their that happen to see this thread really think the south is how you guys read about it in the school text books? I can promise you the tables have turned 100% since the slave owning days.

True story, I had some neighbors from Canada. They told me when they came down California, and made their way through Texas, they just knew (these people are in their mid-upper 20's NOT children) that when they crossed into Louisiana it was gonna be all aligators crossing the road, and nothing but swamp and old poachers shacks all over the place. Oh yea and a bunch of coon asses push poleing Pirogues. Well part of that is true, but its just funny the impression others get of the southern states.

There are a couple (2 I think) of hanging offences still in place in La though.
