oh and i should be doing 243 casting ls6 heads with the cam so maybe ill get an edge

 

I dont see why not man, Good luck. I personally think the 5.7 is a better motor than 6.0, but its just my thoughts good luck though .

 

after alot of reading i think they are atleast as good, if not better than the 6.0's, but theres more playing room with the 6.0's if you wanted to go bigger

well im still on the 5.3 tune. i tried reflashing my ecm but allen has it locked so i cant get into it to make it run decent with the 5.7, and i dont have enough time or money to make the drive up th SA to get it fixed

why dont you ask him to unlock it?

 

Allen will unlock the tune if you ask him.

 

i asked him to not lock it when we were doing the street tune...no biggy i guess. hopefully ill get money for x-mas and my birthday so i can make the trip or get him to ship me a mail order.

 

Well guys I went to the track today, but I came back emty handed I was shootin for an 11. But it did'nt happen the closest i got was a 12.017 @111mph with a 1.7 - 60 ft. Man I was so close, my last run I lost traction and it started hoppin in the rear so I just decided that Im gonna add another mod so I wont have any doubts. I thought that was all she could handle,oh well !!! Maybe next year hahaha.
