..nice fish man...i got me a lill hole i go to..first time i went all i was catchiin was bout 2 in long bluegill and i was on my last cast cause i was disappionted with the pond i found and ended up catchin a 6 lb bass on small hook and piece of worm..found the right lure they like 6in green lizzard and i can catch em all evening long..been my regular hole for bout 7 years now

Thanks guys. I was really excited. My mom got pissed cuz i kept saying "holy ****!" infront of my little brother. The biggest i have ever caught was a 5lber and that surely trumped that one.

Nice one Beau....I went out last sunday caught a solid 4lb fish on a plastic worm.....not as nice as yours though. I was at a pond near Angleton that we have been catching these size fish and bigger off and on since I was about 9. Gotta love the farm pond lunker!

we have a 9 acre pond behind our house, and the same thing happened to me. normally catch 2-3lb bass, and something grabbed my line and the pole bent way over. fought it for about 2-3 minutes. sucker weighed 6 1/3 lbs! but it was full of eggs so i through it back. i was the only one here, so i didnt get any pics. no one believed me. i was pissed
