do they work good ?? i heard that they have alot of problems like leaking and what not ?? what do yall think ? or better yet, what do yall know ? any experience with them ?

do a search on www.LS1tech.com Your account will work on there also. Do a search for cutouts, or cut-outs

there's all kinds, butter flys or sliding gates

butterfly are known for leaking guilotine are not , go with the guiliotine if you dont want leaks, they will cost a bit more but they are nice, i have a set from thorley and they are quality stainless!!

DMH is the brand. It is true the quilotine ones are better but they take up more space and are more difficult to mount right and about 100-150 extra per cutout.

the reason why people complain about them is bc most of them dont have a stop when you open and close them... so you can hold on the button all day long and it would never stop, just wear out the motor... over time by pushing the button a little too long each time it will eventually burn it up.

ive heard good things about QTP elec. cutouts

That's what i run on my truck had it for about a year now, no problems! Like he said the motor will wear out if u hold it down all the time! BTW they come with a warrenty!

anyone sell the qtp's any cheaper than summit in a 3" cutout? the girl friend asked what i wanted from summit for xmas... oh no she didnt!! oh the opportunities...
im sure there is a price limit
