in 3rd gear your tranny ratio is 1:1 so your numbers are more true.

I know that much...

is it possible to do a 2nd gear pull and correct for the lower gear ratio in 2nd? Or does that not accuarately measure?

The problem is there scared lol, they say the drive shafts break faster on trucks then cars lol ahahahahaa, thats funny how they can put a car that makes 500 hp on a stock drive shaft in a car, but most of us here put down 200-350hp and there scared. oh well. my 3rd gear pulls to 135 with 30" tires and thats at 6400 rpms. 2nd is 84mph at 6800 in 2nd gear.

I won't be going to HPE either for anymore Dyno's. MTI, G-force will do mine.

The one time I went they didn't seem very friendly, didn't hardly say a word to me, and basically acted like they wanted to get the 2 runs in and get me out of there. They did run it in 3rd but said they usually dont because they've seen the ds break. I would imagine the ext. cab trucks are more prone to this b/c of the 2 peice ds but I'm not sure.

I wouldn't go back (if I still had my truck)

GForce was a much better experience.

they did mine in 2nd both times.

HPE is too far for me anyway. Man, I went to the Galleria area today and will go to Greenspoint area twice this week but it's for some job interviews so I don't really mind. Texas City is way south.
