yeah you have to keep constand throttle on it. most of the time when that happens is when some one let off at 50%+ throttle

Done that before... what's funny is watching a sedan try to follow you through that water only to have water engulf the entire vehicle. Nothing beats a truck in flooding streets!

Haha... Yeah I Go To The River All The Time, And Theres This Small Out Of Teh Way Launch Are, But It Really Shallow, And If Your Truck Is Stock It Will Drown The Exhaust, But If Your Easy On The Throttle Youlle Be Fine, But If Your Over Half Throttle Then Just Let Off The Exhaust Reversion Will Suck Water Up....

But Yeah Even Just Idleing Into The Water, After I Get Out The Muffler Will Have Water In It For A Lil Whiole, So Yes The Exhaust Pressure Will Keep Most Away From The Cat Back, But It Does Get Up Into The Muffler..... Thats Where Trucks Are Great Because Usually The Water Wont Get Past The After Axle Bend...

But I Have Seen Some Flatbillers At The River With Stock Trucks Pulling Boats Out Trying To Show Off By Flooering It, And When They Start To Spin The Tires They Let Off, And You Just Hear This Horrible Screech...

Then I Smile And Take Out My Tow Rope, And Offer To Pull The Putz Out.

I've had a problem at a boat launch, the outboard was "out", so I ended up backing half of my truck in the water to float the boat high enough on the trailer. I didn't have any problem, I got a kick out of the "blurb, blurb" from the exaust pipe under the water

No starter response? No engine turn-over? No crank/run?
