i would go back and have him retune it. you'll know when there is no tq management. if he does retune it and there's no change then i guess look else where. but i know two loyal allen futral customers and they will swear on the bible by him... i didn't know he was going through a divorce though.

 

Ya he was goin through the paper fileing process when he tuned my truck.I ahve talked with Allen many times hell i live less than 5 mins away from his shop.I also was told he is the guy to see down here...then when he tuned my truck and only 9 hp..i asked why so little and he said theres not much he can do with a stock internal truck...i was kinda like ummm what???But thats about all the answer he gave me...I guess i need to maybe go by there and try to get a minute to talk with him about the tune.

 

i'd like to think there is more to be had from a stock internal truck. if that dont' work out, buy another pcm and have thunder tune it.

 

The only problem with that is it start to $$$$add up.I thought about trying to get him to retune it....if he won't are can't get any better numbers i'll probly just wait until i get it cammed then go to Thunder just on the same pcm...I don't know.

 

The liscense is so I can tune an 04 truck. Honestly, Id love the opportunity to tune yours, but if I were you Id go bact to Allen. Hell Im going through a divorce too I may loose HP. JK, Id try to get Allen to do it, he has a lot more experience than me, and I know personally too many people who swwear by him, but if you dont want to do that, or are unhappy with it, we can definatly work something out. if all he got was 9hp, something is wrong.

 

I'm gonna try to talk to him about the tune and see what he ahs to say.I really don't see 9hp to be much of an improvement over a stock pcm tune.Did i mention on the two base line runs the truck was pig rich and blowing black smoke....so i figuere at most he might have gotten my air fuel corrected....hell on the diablo tune i wasn't rich so if i had left it in for a baseline he might not have gotten any hp.....I'm gonna talk to him though and see what we can get done to it.If nothin comes from it i may vary well see about getting you to tune on it for me.

 

go back to him. give him another shot at it. maybe he will be with it and get it done right....

 

ok, i have the go ahead from the wife. now i just have to find out if my uncle had the go ahead. either way i'll be there. so yall make plans bastards.
