well picked up the truck today, and SOTP says it pulls alot harder!! still need to get it tuned though, hopefully Allen can squeeze me in his tight schedule before the 20th... by the way a 160degree theremostat was installed but the gauge is still reading 200+??? does anyone know why???

thanks to lance and kevin again, they did a great job and did a little bit of extra stuff tighten up quite a few things that were loose and clean the throttle body and clean the whole engine bay!! I havent seen seen my engine bay that clean in a long time...

BBLS1, - I am not good at estimated 1/4 times by the SOTP feel... but what do you think it'll run???

Leo - the things I have done since the last time I went to the track is vette servo's, cam/springs and 160degree thermostat... and will be installing a hooker aerochamber next week....that'll be it until next year..

you need to burp the cooling system and check the fluid. What I'm talking about buping is in the morning when it cold undo the radiator cap and let it burp, then after its at running temp remove cap again """" but""" be very careful when doing it hot it could burn you bad....... loosen the cap very slowly and you will hear the air come out of the system. I had to do this several times even after we purge the system.

Not necessarily. COuld have been a bad thermo but when you do the cam swap pretty much all the coolant is drained out of the system except for a little bit in the block so there are ALOT of places that air can get caught in. Either way the 160 stat will alow Allen to adda bit more timing into the tune since the motor will run a tad cooler. Good mod either way.

Yesterday I ordered a 4.56 and a Detroit Locker TruTrack. That oughta cause some tire problems.

You can trust that I'm on the up&up when I tell ya that I didn't come here to learn how to build a hybrid truck.
